PLIKA set out to rethink the conventional laptop sleeve through materials and construction. The product needed to provide reliable protection while remaining lightweight, sustainable and highly durable - without relying on stitching or complex assembly.

The Process
We developed a custom combination of organic felt and washable paper for its durability, tactile quality and washability. Waterjet-cut geometry and strategically placed buttons allow the materials to fold into a three-dimensional sleeve without a single stitch.

The result is a durable, washable sleeve with a distinctive construction and minimal use of components. When opened, it transforms into a full-size desk and mouse pad, while the same design system adapts across laptop and iPad sizes.
